House on Slope

  • Category: Private Comission
  • Location: Sopo - Cundinamarca
  • Year: 2014
  • Area: 330 m2

An elongated, broken and stepped volume gracefully adapts to the topography of the site. Facing a native forest that spreads down a steep slope, the interior configuration of the house results in an integrated area connected through different levels and a vertical circulation starting in the semi-basement (parking) and ending in a green roof terrace. In the first floor, the social area is connected in sequence, bordered by a perimeter deck that starts at ground level and ends cantilevered covering the parking entrance.

The two cantiliverd wooden volumes protect the large window in the first floor and contain the rooms from which the whole region above the native forest can be viewed and appreciated.
